1. If 35Cl and 37Cl are the stable isotopes of chlorine and they have masses of 34.968852 amu and 36.965903 amu as well as abundances of 75.77% and 24.23%, respectively, what is the tabulated atomic mass of chlorine?
2. How many parent ion peaks do you expect in the mass spectrum of the Cl2+ ion?
3. What is the mass of the most abundant ion from question 2?
4. Use the binomial formula to predict the relative intensity of the peak described in question 3.
