    I need help in naming and identifying the type of nomenclature compound as type
    I,II,III.
    AuBR
    NiSe
    NaCl3
    NH4S

    Naming compounds like these is quite simple, name the cation and the anion will have an -ide ending to the name...

    Au is gold and Br is bromine --> bromide = gold bromide is the name (AuBr3)

    Ni is nickel, and Se is selenium --> selenide = nickel selenide is the name (NiSe)

    Na is sodium Cl is chlorine --> chloride = sodium chloride (NaCl)

    NH4 is a complex ion (called ammonium) and S is sulfur --> sulfide = Ammonium sulfide ([NH4]2S)

    Type I, II and III is not a common method of classification, you are on your own for that...although each compound is an ionic compound.
