From reading the posts of the managers, the consensus appears to be mixed. Some feel the discontinuing the 15" product is the right move while others feel differently in that the 15" product should be packaged with an expensive CPU for college and high school students. This would keep the price low and by keeping the price low, these managers feel that the products revenues will increase significantly. A few colleagues discussed the option of putting all the company's funds in promoting and producing 17" screens only, as Consumer Reports stated that the 17" monitor is a well produced product and, we know, that company is earning a profit on this particular product.

With all these factors, I have to concur that the best avenue for the company to pursue is to partner the existing 15" monitors with low cost CPUs and cease production on the 15" monitor. Once all ...
