Strengths:
Altria has been able to shift its manufacturing to countries that have low costs of manufacturing, cheap raw material and labor, and friendly taxation laws. Further, the continuing profits being made by Altria and the backing it has of its shareholders.
Weaknesses:
Altria is not successful in lowering prices to match low cost cigarettes, and there is lack of buyer loyalty.
