What needs to be done?
Livestrong.org must develop a national cancer database, incorporating data from people battling cancer, and those who have survived cancer. To do this they must revamp their website and add an input table for information, including age, sex, occupation, geographic location, type of cancer, discovery date, treatment, family history, and any additional information researchers may need to know. In addition, Llivestrong.org must connect with every cancer research organization to determine information they want on a national cancer database, and information they want to publicize to cancer victims.
Lastly, Livestrong.org must coordinate these efforts and publicize their new venture through the Internet, outreach at races, in schools, through the medical community, and on newspaper, television and radio shows.
By whom and when?
Initially the organization's management must meet with cancer researchers to determine valuable information, and then have programmers and web designers create a form to input, as well as a way to sort and distribute information. Public relations will need to get involved to get the word out to cancer victims about the benefits of sharing health ...
