The Marketing Information System
Crystal Castle is a family entertainment center featuring video games, pinball, billiards, glow golf, bowling, go-karts, and laser tag. The marketing information system for Crystal will consists of four parts. The first will be the internal records for marketing managers, the second will be marketing intelligence system, the third will be marketing research system, and the fourth will be marketing decision support system. The marketing information systems will have four components namely internal records, marketing intelligence, marketing research, and marketing decision support systems (Kokic. Esad, 2013).
The hardware will be two HP Proliant DL380p Gen8 Servers, and seven dedicated terminals. The system will also be accessible from authorized mobile computers, and smart phones.
Internal records system: This system will mine data from the internal records of the company. This includes point of sales information, the direct costs incurred, the overheads, cash flows, and account payable.
