There are various kinds of marketing and sales strategies to target the customers for the event planning business. The three main strategies are as follow:

 Networking: Networking is the main strategy to market the services of the event planning and make relations with the customers. With the help of networking the, the management can establish long term relations with the other associates (Fulbright, 2009). The event management organization should make contacts with the customers through social parties and other social events. Networking with the hotel and caterers also very effective to target the customers in this business and sales the services to them (Kotler, 2002).
