India suffers from racial and communal tension and this puts pressure on the companies operating in India. Apart from this risk of extremism and terrorism has become the biggest risk for the companies operating in the country.
To mitigate socioeconomic risk within the India the manufacturing organization should have better security arrangements. A proper security arrangement will help the company to mitigate risk that can arise from terrorism or extremism activities. Also the company should come out with awareness programs to reduce the extremism activity within the region.

2. Environmental: Environmental risk due to earthquake, flood, hurricanes, tsunami etc is the biggest environmental issue affecting companies in India for the year 2008. Company gets affected by the hurricanes, floods and little other environmental change. ...
