Construction has several schedules used throughout the process. They are usually parallel schedules, for the contractor, the government, the bank/mortgage company, and the home owner. The most important in the planning stages are the design and engineering approval stages. The homewoner works closely with the design firm to create the home plans they desire and the engineering schedules keep the plans within the boundaries of good construction and building codes.
