Continuing my analysis for Kenneth Dailey of FMC Green River by focusing on employee motivation, using the Step by Step Analysis.

The steps of analysis are the same as those explained in Unit 1:

Step #1 Introduction and Background

Step #2 Organizational Analysis

Step #3 Alternatives and Recommendations

Step #4 Implementation with a Contingency Plan

The topics to analyze for this unit are the following:

a. Job Design and Goal Setting
b. Performance Appraisal
c. Pay
d. Career Development

Keeping in mind the differences that exist between FMC Green River and FMC Aberdeen. Think in terms of the job design/goal setting in both facilities. What about differences in pay, performance appraisals, and developing a career path?

Will need to develop the recommendations to be considered as to what would work at the Green River facility and why? How will my changes be implemented?
