My new consumer product is called the Water Watch, a blue silicone gel bracelet that will help consumers' track water intake on a daily basis. The bracelet will have 20 bubbles on the outside, similar to the type of bubbles on the lid of drinks at fast food restaurants. The consumer will track his or her daily water intake and increase his or her health; by popping a bubble each time they consume 8 ounces of water. The Water Watch will include instructions of how to calculate one's daily water needs by multiplying body weight by .08. The bracelet can be re-used, by flipping it over each day and starting fresh. The target market is health conscious adults, ages 16 to 75 years old, both men and women. The market is enormous since very few people drink enough water and it is so important for health and weight maintenance as well as disease prevention.
