The company is PepsiCo which is the parent company for Pepsi, Frito-Lay, Tropicana, Gatorade, and Quaker. Working for this company back in the 1980s, there were many global factors involved. Not only handling diversity with employees but also with customers.
The organization has multinational teams that affect everything they do from marketing promotions, sales, diversity in products, and diversity in the workforce. Each department had a team and then the company branch had an overseer who would knit the teams together. Communication globally with other divisions was imperative as the company would allow employees to visit others locations to get a better idea of how the company was run and get acquainted with the culture of that division. In 2012, PepsiCo located in the United Kingdom and Ireland, "implemented the Strategies for Success Women's Program.
