In managing cultural diversity in the workplace, it is necessary to develop some intercultural skills when dealing with the people at work and the people in the community. People from different countries have different cultures which makes them distinct from one another. It is very challenging to be able to communicate with each other especially if there is a language barrier. However, it isn't the language that makes it really difficult. It is how we deal with the differences in the way people in a foreign place act as compared to our own orientation and background.
