Some of the major differences are bound in the perception of the person vs the company Like in Hofstede's individualism, the Polish perceive success and failure in the company as personal. However, the American's see it as positives and negatives for the company and as much company interest as personal.
The Polish are more bound by traditions that give respect to older people and have difficulties accepting that younger people can be in some ways more knowledgeable. The Americans prefer to reward knowledge with higher positions that can lead to uncomfortable assumptions of the Polish. ...
