1. PMI (PMBOK)
The PMI (PMBOK) model has processes by way of inputs, tools and technologies and output. The PMI (PMBOK) has been presented in the form of a guide. There are more than forty processes described in these and they are grouped into initiating, planning, execution, controlling and monitoring and closing. It also describes knowledge areas like project integration, project scope management and project communications management.

2. APM
The APM PM BoK. Is a modern project management model. It has grown out of bodies of knowledge like PMI PMBOK guide, APM PM BoK etc. This is a balanced PM process integrating both "hard" processes like procurement, time, resources/ cost, and quality.
