I am looking for help in evaluating a Matrix that was developed to access projects that are developed in our office.

I need to write a justification that lists each of the criterion selected and discuss what makes the criterion useful for evaluating Business Plans.

The strategy must inform the vision as well as make the implementation of the action match the vision. Without vision, there is only a need and no real way of knowing what the need it, what the company wishes to do to meet the need, and how it plans to approach filling the need. If the strategy is not clear, then there is little chance of new ideas and without excitement, people don't approach the project with enthusiasm.

Technology for technology sake is expensive and unproductive if it does not allow the company to meet the needs of the external and internal environment of business. For example, if one leaves human resources to deal with the company employees using only Quickbooks and MS Office there are bound to be problems if the company offers benefit packages, complex options for time off, etc. If production is not aligned with shipping and receiving, how will the three departments know what is happening and be able to plan? Technology is necessary to keep up in the market, but only if the appropriate technology is applied. Can one imagine sales persons on the road without laptops and cell phones?
