Employment-at-will is applied to every organization in the state of KS. For example, an individual signs an agreement that they can get terminated within 90 of employment, or have the option of quitting at anytime. However, not every employer will have their employee sign anything. In fact, most of them will verbally tell the person what the expectation is, and hope that he or she follows it. Otherwise, he or she is out of the job, and have a lack of money to support himself or herself. This law can easily ruin a person or family because of the fact that no trust is built between the individual and the company.
