Affirmative actions are influenced by several laws. Some laws are as follow that are significant for these kinds of actions:
Regional Norms: Non-discrimination is the core principal of the affirmative action. In this, regional norms play an important role in support of affirmative action at international level. In USA, the American Declaration of the Rights and Duties of Man (ADRDM) and the American Convention of Human Rights (ACHR) helps the government to comprise the principal documents in order to establish Inter-American System. This emphasizes on strong actions of non-discrimination. American norms and Jurisprudence also influence these actions and provide guidelines to the state members to take effective actions to guarantee these rights and suggest the need for affirmative measures (Kuper, 2005).
