Introduction

The American company that has been selected for the paper is Ford Motors. It is the fourth largest Multinational Automaker in the World. The HRM structure of the company is highly developed and it has a unionized labor force. The company has labor unions that organize the activities of the labors and help in avoiding violence in the company. Earlier, the founder of the company was not in favor of the unions. Later on, it was founded that collective bargaining agreements with the unions will help the company to avoid work disruptions, strikes and lock-outs.

Unionization

Ford Motors has entered into a contract with the Union Auto Workers (UAW). The UAW is the largest union in the United States and is established to protect and safeguard the interest of the employees in the organization. In the present day context, Ford fully supports the unionized organizations and favors it. The UAW has helped ford to develop an organized labor force. The company fully focuses on the labor rights and supports the arguments presented by the workers union.
