Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) was established in 1987 with headquarters in Hsinchu, Taiwan. TSMC is listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) under the ticker number 2330 and its American Depository Shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol "TSM" ("Company Profile,"). The company offers a range of wafer fabrication processes, including embedded non-volatile memory process, embedded dynamic random access memory (DRAM) process, mixed signal/ radio frequency (RF) process, high voltage process, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensor process, color filter process, micro electro-mechanical system (MEMS) process and silicon germanium process, among others ("Taiwan semiconductor manufacturing," ). TSMC is the first and largest dedicated silicon foundry in the world with 10 plants in Asia and one in the US.
