Goal versus Resource Based Approach

Evaluation of the organizational effectiveness is mainly done in order to assure the business existence of the organization. In this series two approaches are followed by the management people namely resource based approach and goal approach. Both approaches have their specific advantages or disadvantages (Daft, 2007). Resource based approach is defined as an economical tool that is applied to find out the strategically resources available to an organization, in order to accomplish the pre defined goals of the firm.
