TWO REGULATIONS SELECTED:
EMPLOYMENT AT WILL: This is a legal term for contractual relationships in which an employee can be dismissed by an employer whenever the employer wants. He does not have to justify the termination. The employer can dismiss an employee without warning. If the employee is recruited at will, the employee cannot get any claim for loss from the dismissal. The other side of the rule is that an employee may leave her job without reason or warning. There are some exceptions to the doctrine of employment at will. These are public policy exceptions, implied contract exceptions, covenant of good faith and fair dealing exception, and statutory exception. The man point of employment at will is that the employment relationship does not provide any protection by law that employment will continue or will end only on certain conditions, unless the parties have adopted such terms.
