Global Strategy

Funder Mifflin Inc. is a global company that wants to enter into the social networking industry with a new social networking site that reaches out to our global communities. Using a Global strategy is one of the best ways a global company could approach the global market. Most of us know that social networking opens the door and provides us with direct access to global networks (Aguiar, 2010). Funder Mifflin Inc. is a global company so we will tend to view the world as one market which means that most of our strategies will act on a global basis. A global strategy is considered a corporate level strategy and it should not replace our business level strategy but it can be used simultaneously with our business strategy.

Global Strategies Competitive Advantage

In order for Funder Mifflin Inc. to sustain a global competitive advantage they must market their social networking site globally. In order for them to do this they will have to market themselves towards the needs of all of their global customers. Funder Mifflin Inc will need to make sure that all their strategic assets are not readily available to their competitors.
