Working environment is one of the important factors of retaining and increasing the employee delight. According to the Two-Factor Theory there are two aspects to job satisfaction: motivation and hygiene. Environmental issues are at the core of the Hygiene Factor. These are needed to ensure employee satisfaction. Work conditions, salary, status, policies and procedures, interpersonal relationships, job security. (Frederick Hertzberg)

There have been voices of employee dissatisfaction due to the mechanization of the production facility and introduction of the high level automation in every production process. Now the workers have been tasked with additional responsibilities by management due to the automation. But this has come without any increase in pay or other benefits. Moreover this change has been introduced without taking workers into confidence and has resulted in deterioration of work environment.
