In particular if the three things namely employees, customers and bottom line are set through the assessment process, then substantial improvement can be brought about.

There can be improvement in the morale as well as the process of performance evaluation.
There can be improvements in the process of promotion and granting of increments.
There can be improvements in the assessment of training needs of the employees and their need for additional training.
Customers:
There can be an improved assessment of customer needs.
Customer service can be improved using the "From Baldrige to Bottom line" model.
Relationship with the government can be improved.
Bottom Line:
The business can be made more profitable.
