Q.1. Discuss what Strategic compensation means to you?
Strategic compensation means achieving strategic objectives through changes in compensation. This means the compensation is designed in such a way that the strategic objectives of the firm are achieved. The HR implements this process and then assesses the results of such an intervention. For instance, the HR while head hunting may offer a very attractive compensation to an applicant. Then HR pays him the higher compensation, and studies the effect of the compensation on the strategic objectives. In short, paying higher compensation selectively to gain competitive advantage.
