The seven components that must be included in your BRD are the creation of an executive summary, project objectives, the project scope, business requirements for your load application/platform, identification of key stakeholders, project constraints, and conducting a cost-benefit analysis. When establishing your executive summary, you should focus on a specific area for your application tool such as loans, which is only an example but will be used throughout this summary. Once the problem is identified, which for loan applications in banks is the cumbersome and archaic loan application process, you must outline the solution and why writing the BRD will solve this issue.
