1. At a privately owned drugstore in my neighborhood, new employees (for example, assistants or cashiers) are given worksheets outlining procedures and expectations. One of the pharmacists or another cashier with more experience walks new employees through procedures a few times. Each step is explained thoroughly and most of the time the pharmacist or other employee doing the training would encourage the trainee to ask questions.
