Strong interpersonal skills: Project manger must have strong soft skills so that he can effectively communicate the future plans and strategies required to communicate to the employees, workers, stake holders, etc also can solve problems of the workforce ( 7 key skills of a project manager, 2003)
Patience: Whenever change is implemented there is always some opposition and sometimes it is of very high degree. Due to this a manager needs to be patient. Thus this skill is very much necessary for management of change.

Planning, organizing, staffing, directing, controlling, feedback are the key components of management on which the steps of project management are based.

This integration of management components and project planning has resulted in positive results. As for any objective to be accomplish firstly initiating of the planning for the project has to be done, it includes its objective defining and appropriation of resources. After appropriate planning its efficient execution has to be done this requires preparing workforce to accomplish the task by providing information about the project.

Further monitoring and controlling of the project is also very important as it make certain that goals and objectives of the project are achieved and last but not the least formal closing of the project considering all important documentation and information needed to close down a project. All these activities are important for the effective accomplishment of the project (Five Essential Elements of Project Management, 2011).
