An episode of Undercover Boss, which was broadcast on April 19th, 2013, introduced Lynn C the corporate human resources head (Human Talent Officer) for the fast food restaurant chain Popeye's. In the guise of a new worker in training named "Pam", she worked with a cook, a cook manager, a cashier and a custodian in four different restaurants.

At first all four employees did not know that "Pam" was actually their corporate boss, so they seemed to act the way that they they would normally act toward a worker in training. The cook was very skilled and aspired to become a traveling trainer one day, but he was very untactful toward some of the workers, and corrected the other workers in front of the customers. The cook manager had a very welcoming attitude toward both coworkers and customers, and wanted to go to college to study hospitality management. He also mentioned that he could not afford to eat at the restaurant because the employee discount was withdrawn.

The cashier taught "Pam" very patiently about how to make the customers feel welcome, but pointed out how there was insufficient tools to keep the bathrooms clean.

This very experienced Popeye's employee also spoke of how her family was scattered because of Hurricane Katrina The custodian expressed pride in his work, and was at one time honored with a citation as employee of the month, although that program was since discontinued. He ...
