In the year 1982, Tylenol capsules made by the division of Johnson and Johnson were laced with Cyanide. Seven people took this tainted product and died. As a result, criminal investigation was undertaken. The product was taken from the shelves of all the retailers and temper-resistant packaging was done after this case. (McCrie, 2001)
