The Topic:
As I see the finish line in the near distance, I accomplished many of the course objectives such as the application of critical thinking skills and creating plans to improve business operations. But I am very aware that this semester was probably the hardest I have had so far. With the first time using intellipath, I believe it did a great job of testing your knowledge and helping you learn more, however it was VERY time consuming. The information I learned this semester from lectures to intellipath helped me in the completion of the Comprehensive Project.

Currently I am a Division Director of the Computer Information Systems and Design Division. Which in short means I have four direct reports and 10 indirect reports. Needless to say, I use the information I have learned in my undergrad and grad degree on a daily bases. Just today I was only in the office for 10 minutes when a direct report and indirect report stepped in to inform me of an ethical violation. I spent the whole day handling the situation and do not look to have a resolution for a couple more weeks. I have learned a lot of things in this class to help me make unbiased decisions in career.

I enjoyed when reading your post this week, I remember taking classes and working at the same time. I always found the information in the classes seemed to turn up somewhere on the job. When I finally reached the strategic level course work the information in class gave me a perspective that really made a difference in my ability to perform well. I can relate to your comments about taking the information from class and applying immediately on the job. I believe that is one of the benefits of going to school while working. People who are successful in this type of environment have prioritization and time management skills and they usually have an opportunity to test some of the theory in the real world as their degree program goes on. Glad to hear that your program fit your needs and that success seems imminent.
