The first is the communication of the opportunity to suitable candidates, the second is an objective evaluation of the candidates and the third is ensuring that the candidates selected actually join our organization.

Applications of technology can be used to overcome each of these three barriers.

The communication of the opportunity to suitable candidates is done through the internet; here technology can help the human resource by using webpage developing software so as to create a webpage suitable for recruitment. The communication barrier is also overcome by using a graphics suit to create interview and recruitment notifications to be displayed on college notice boards. The e-mail suit can help communicate with the suitable candidates that respond to communication. The communication of recruitment to candidates is also possible through the use of presentation programs like power point, and video presentations that can be used to address prospective candidates at recruitment conferences and presentations at universities. Letters that are made on word processors can also be used to communicate with suitable candidates. A database of past applicants can be developed so that the data of these applicants can easily be accessed and suitable candidates may be contacted by writing letters using the word processor or using the e-mail program to candidates.
