Arab's communication style is referred to as elaborate, as they make use of various phrases or idioms while communicating. Therefore, Arabs are said to be expressive. They are said to be extravagant in exaggerating (Saudi Arabian Communication Styles, n.d.). Arabs also rely on non direct communication.
Silence is used as a non verbal communication practice and depicts thoughtful observation. Gestures and facial expressions are important non verbal communication practices. Eye contact also has an important role in Arab communication. If a person maintains eye contact, this depicts his sincerity and truthfulness.
