There are many types of proposals, such as planning proposal, research proposals, implementation proposals and estimate proposals, etc. The estimate proposals are used to make some future estimates. This type of proposal is made while a business is to be established and future expense and revenues are estimated. Thus, it is a very important business proposal. This proposal informs the management how the future figures will be calculated, the management gets an idea about the estimation strategy of business through estimation of the budget.

When a proposal is designed, many issues should be kept in mind. The proposal should provide a brief and specific idea about the topic. On the other hand, the proposal should define the topic of estimation. The language of the proposal should be simple and precise. Thus, the management will be able to get the estimation proposal. The proposal of estimation should be aligned with the business. If proposal is not aligned with objectives, there is no value of estimation proposal (Hadiashar & Suter, 2000).

Budgets

Budgets play a very important role in business. There are many types of budgets which are used in the business. The sales budgets, purchasing budgets, master budgets, and revenue and expenditure budgets are some of them. The importance of any budget cannot be avoided. Every budget has its own importance. The purchasing budget estimates how much raw material will be needed in the future. On the other hand, the sales budget is used to estimate future sales figures. The master budget figure includes income statement, balance-sheet and pro-forma cash flow statement.
