Eight years ago the doctor asked if we wanted to save (can't remember if it was to froze or not) the blood from the umbilical cord from our daughter. His explanation was that it was full of good stuff and we could save it.

Here is my question:

How long can the stuff in the umbilical cord be saved for? Are there any definite time limits?

Pine trees have a different way of getting through the winter. They have tough needles instead of leaves, and these needles can take freezing temperatures without being damaged. Plants have stomata in their leaves which can open and close based on environmental conditions. However, when stomata are closed, carbon dioxide cannot be collected.
