Stated below is the complete assignment that I have been assigned. I am confused on how to perform Mann-Whitney test the calculation located on page 706. So the null hypothesis would be HO: M1 = M2; and H1: M1 not = M2. included I should State the decision rule and take a sample and arrive at a decision that I am also having trouble with.

I must do mean square footage of homes based on distance from the center of city. See attached spreadsheet and word document. The mean distance from center of city is 15 miles. I must take all the houses under 15 miles to the center of city and find the mean square foot for those houses. Then take all the houses 15 miles and greater from the center of the city and find the mean square foot for those houses. Must use the Mann-Whitney test to perform the calculation located on page 706. So the null hypothesis would be HO: M1 = M2; and H1: M1 not = M2.

Nonparametric Hypothesis Testing Paper

Using the same research question and data from the Learning Team Meeting Two assignment, conduct the equivalent, nonparametric test of hypothesis using the 5-step process.

Prepare a 1,050-1,750-word paper describing the results of the nonparametric hypothesis test. Be sure to include the following in your paper:

4. Formulate a hypothesis statement regarding your research issue.

5. Perform the five-step hypothesis test on the data.

6. Explain which nonparametric test you used to analyze your data and why you chose that test.

7. Interpret the results of your test, and explain the differences, if any, that you observe from your Week Three paper.

Be sure to include your raw data tables and the results of your computations in your paper, using both graphical and tabular methods of displaying data and results.
