Frequency distribution in Excel
Not what you're looking for?
Attached is a small data set. This is information that comes from a Mfg line at which I am an intern.
I have calculated the mean, std dev, min, and max for the 2 data sets. but I do not understand statistics well enough or the "Data Analysis" add-in in Excel.
I am being asked to put the 2 sets of data into "normal distribution curve" frequency diagrams. How can I do that in Excel and show a distribution curve around a mean?
Can you help? My look at just the raw data tends to suggest that the first data has more points below the mean and would have a distribution curve shifted to the left of the mean? Alternatively, the 2nd data set appears to be well centered around the mean with little skew and very normal.
