Statistics - One Way Analysis Variance
Not what you're looking for?
The real world problem is to sample 12 statistic students to determine if the number of hours spent studying for Test 9 contribute to attaining a passing score.
The dependent variable is the test 9 scores and the independent variable is the hours.
The independent variable has three levels of study:
Group 1: Independent study
Group 2: Team study
Group 3: Tutored study
The effect size will measure which independent variable (hours) will result in a passing score.
The null hypothesis Is Ho: µ1= µ2= µ3. Number of study hours do not have an effect on Test 9 scores.
The alternative hypothesis is H1: Number of study hours has an effect on Test 9 scores.
