Developing countries have many similarities such as low levels of productivity, high population growth, low levels of living (this refers to their GNP), vulnerability in international relations, imperfect markets, and dependence on agriculture and primary exports. They also differ in many ways such as their population and geographic size, levels of education, types of industry, what natural resources they have available, and the role of their government as well as the the degree of democracy. The question you need to answer is how does a developing nation establish itself in the global community in an economic sense?

Solution Summary

A suggestion is to look at all the different ways a nation is recognized globally. For example, the economic and political organizations the nation is involved with. For example, The world health Organization, World trade, fair trade, united nations, ambassadors, leaders, other associations, treaties, etc. This could be negative or positive, even the Taliban could be considered as an organization. When a nation is growing and establishing it self, it will want to associate with other nations and organizations that will support growth. For example, Co-operation, sending ambassadors, humanitarian aid to others, education that is current and equipping students for a global world, etc.
