Why does Saint Paul tell them not to be ashamed that he is in prison?

An interesting question. I thank you for the opportunity to address it.
The young evangelist, Timothy is being assured by the apostle Paul that shame can never come out of anything associated with God. Moreover, the suffering that has come with their devotion and loyalty to Jesus must be for their own good. Service in the name of the Lord should be embraced with great zeal.
