First of all, it is extremely important for the external and internal consulting teams to come on a common platform with respect to conducting the project or assignment in order to operate in an effective manner. Both the set of teams should cooperate with each other and agree upon the scope, processes and tasks, goals/objectives and other peculiarities and set of activities for the project. Further, there should be a clear cut demaracation of the roles and responsibilities for the internal as well as the external consulting team.
