Here is a list of ways to reduce stress. The key for the psychologist is to encourage the employee to PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! Some employees get better stress relief by being active (running, walking), while others do not, but rather prefer quiet, low key activities (warm baths, crafting).

BREATHING - with the breath of air, a person inhales oxygen and releases carbon dioxide (a waste product). If you have poor breathing habits, you make it harder for your body to release carbons, therefore making it harder for your body to cope with stressful situations. Oxygen energizes us - and if we aren't breathing properly, we get worn out much easier and stressed out easier. Teaching proper breathing is important.
