First of all, as you express personally the strongly correlation between gender and personality development, for me, I was raised and socialized (and rather "old school" rigidly) much more differently than my brother was. To illustrate, I was raised with frilly, pink, and very "girlie" images, so I tend to be that way now as an adult. I was not exposed to sports in terms of participation, so I am not very athletic even now.

Instead, I was encouraged to dance, act, and perform other traditional activities deemed for girls. As a male, how were you raised and socialized in terms of gender roles and how do they impact you now?
