B.F.Skinner was a behaviorist who believed that human behavior could be engineered, and responses to these behaviors could weaken and/or reinforce one's desire to repeat a particular behavior. Skinner believed that adaptive behavior was learned; when reinforced by their environment, and he felt based on this idea that one's learning was a function of change of their obvious behavior.
