On SIAS

What is SIAS? It is a 20-item self-report scale known in full as Social Interaction Anxiety Scale. According to NovoPsych (2013), it is "designed to measure social interaction anxiety....helpful in tracking social anxiety symptoms over time, and may be helpful"

As part of an assessment for social phobia or other anxiety related disorders." With distress of a social nature being about anxiety in meeting and talking with other people, as a scale it asks question related to determining the symptoms manifesting in the individual.
