My biggest habit is keeping towels straight in the bathroom. I believe I developed this habit because growing up everything had to be perfect in the house I lived at as a child. When I cleaned anything, no dust had to be present; consequently, I was then took on that everything had to be perfect in my own little world. My teachers had a part in this as well growing up. I had to have everything in my desk neat, or I lost priveldeges, such as going outside to play, or had to do homework assigned to me from the teacher. As a result, this became a habit, that I do struggle to break on a regular basis.

I continue it because everything looks great when it is in order around the house, and probably do have some sense of low self-esteem. In my opinion, I do it to please others more than myself. Over the years, I have become a people pleaser instead of ...
