We change attitudes all the time. The change comes about when people can see, what the logical reasoning is behind the attitudes tried to be changed. When the logic and reason behind opposite attitudes are understood, then the person can feel assured that the attitudes will change and the other person whose attitudes are being changed, wont feel that an undue expectation is imposed without being given rationalization as to why a change in attitudes is necessary.
