This assignment is the continuation of the Unit 1 IP (Part 2) assignment and it has two parts for the Unit 2 IP assignment:
Part 1
For this assignment, use the same hypothesis and the Literature Review from your IP1 (Part 2) assignment and compose a 2-3 page theoretical framework (Step 4 of the Sekaran process). Use the components of a theoretical framework described in the Sekaran textbook as well as the examples contained in the textbook and in published research. Additionally, use sources available on the web, the library, and from the textbook to support your arguments. Remember to include these sources in the references section of your paper.
Part 2
Using figure 6.2 of Sekaran as a guideline, write a 3-5 page Scientific Research Design (Step 6) appropriate for the hypothesis and the Literature Review from the IP1 and the theoretical framework you have prepared for Part 1 of this IP2. Include the type of investigation needed, the study setting, the unit of analysis, and your recommended time horizon for the study. Also offer your assessment on the extent of "researcher interference" (pp. 127-129) and any ethical considerations that may arise from the research design you are proposing.
Your assignment should consist of an abstract, a short introduction, and conclusion in addition to the body of the paper (Part 1 and Part 2). Using the Library, the Internet, and your course materials write a 5-8 page document using MS Word 2007.
Please note: this assignment will be a building block for the Unit 4 IP assignment.
Your report MUST include a reference list in correct APA format. Please note that all the sources used in your theoretical framework (Part 1) and scientific research design (Part 2) need to be listed in your references section. All research should be cited in the body of the paper. Reports without citations may not earn any higher grade than a 'C' letter grade.
NOTE: Scholarly article collections may be accessed in the Library. Suggestions are:
Ã?¢?Ã?¢ ABI Inform Global
Ã?¢?Ã?¢ Academic Search Premier
Ã?¢?Ã?¢ Business Source Premier
Please submit your assignment as an MS Word document in APA Style 6th edition format.
Objective: The Objective of the Unit 2 IP Assignment will involve the following the Course Outcomes and Grading Criteria with their respective percentages for the Grading Rubric:
Ã?¢?Ã?¢ Apply the standard of APA Style to all research and writing tasks. (10%)
Ã?¢?Ã?¢ Apply principles of quantitative and qualitative research to business cases. (60%)
Ã?¢?Ã?¢ Apply critical thinking skills to analyze business situations. (20%)
Ã?¢?Ã?¢ Use effective communication techniques. (10%)
MGT600 Unit 2 DB 4-6 paragraphs
Think about the business decision you discussed in Unit 1's Discussion Board. Your supervisor had asked that you expand on your self-evaluation by identifying at least two judgment issues that you had to address. Write a memo to your supervisor describing these issues. Explain how you addressed them and the degree to which your decision was based on expedience and/or reflection. Potential issues include: bias, or ethical issues related to the availability heuristic, bias related to the representative heuristic, bias related to anchoring and adjustment, avoiding uncertainty, framing effects, positive illusions, egocentrism, and regret avoidance.
Use the Library or other Web resources to support your argument. Be sure to cite your sources using APA Style 6th edition guidelines.
Your work MUST include a reference list. All research should be cited in the body of the paper. Reports without citations may not earn any higher grade than a 'C' letter grade. Your report should contain a short introduction and conclusion in addition to the body of the paper. Please note that if you have a source in your reference section, you need to cite it in the body of the paper per APA guidelines and vice-versa.

//This paper is framed in the form of an analytical paper, which is based on theoretical framework related to the hypothesis and literature review done in IP1. The analysis is based on Sekaran Textbook. Prior to doing this analysis, the background information of related problem is summarized in the initial discussion under the heading of Introduction.//

Abstract

This paper is based on the theoretical framework used in Sekaran's Textbook. The main topic of discussion in the paper is analysis of relationship between two factors namely, customer satisfaction and loyalty. In this paper, we will mainly include components of theoretical framework that reflect the impact on the customer satisfaction and add endlessly to loyalty. In addition to this, this paper also helps you in getting knowledge about the customer satisfaction that continually helps in maintaining customer loyalty. This paper also gives knowledge about the Scientific Research Design. As well as it also covers the explanation about the extent of "researcher interference" in respect to the given problem.

Introduction

The background information of the related problem involved two factors namely, customer loyalty and satisfaction. In the previous assignment, we have studied the relationship between two factors on the basis of hypothesis study, through which we analyze whether there is any relationship between customers' satisfaction and loyalty or not. With the study of literature review, it is assessed that both the factors are interconnected or depend on each other, and we can say that both are related with customers. On the whole, it is evident that there exists a direct and positive relationship between consumer satisfaction and loyalty.

//Above, we have talked about the background information that focuses on the relationship between customer loyalty and satisfaction. In this part, we will compose theoretical framework related to the given problem with the help of various variables & examples given in Sekaran textbook.//

With the theoretical framework, the relationship between concepts and several factors that are interrelated to each other are focused. In this theoretical framework, the important factors that have been keyed out in concern to the predefined problem, i.e., customer loyalty and satisfaction are referred in such a way that shows the logical sense of relationship between the two factors. On the whole, this conceptual framework tests out the relationship, as well as enhances the understanding related to the given problem hypothesis (Sekaran, 2009).

Source: (Sekran, 2009).

In concern to the given problem, the dependent variable is employee motivation that greatly affects the customer satisfaction and loyalty. Thus, components of motivation must be focused with an exquisite interest. For example, if the workers in an organization are not fully satisfied with their work, environment or salary, then it would indirectly affect the customer satisfaction. If the employees do not work properly with specified standards, it would directly affect the product & services quality, and also results in consumer dissatisfaction. It would also endlessly induce the consumer to switch towards other brands or affects customer loyalty. On the whole, it is evident that whenever there is lack of employee motivation, there are prospects of lessened customer satisfaction level and loyalty. Thus, it is conceived that customer satisfaction and loyalty is an integral part of employee motivation.

As per components given in this textbook, the example of Deltas Airline is used to relate the discussion with theoretical framework. In this case, due to ineffective services, the safety of air services was violated, which could have dissatisfied crew members as negative loyalty (Sekaran, 2009). The same concept can be applicable with the product features that are the major concern of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Product features also play a determinative role in satisfying the customer satisfaction as well as continuing the loyalty. When the customers' needs are not adequately met with product features or added product features are not tailor-made or made accordingly, then it would increased dissatisfaction among customers as well as also outrage the relationship with customers. Thus, it can be concluded that this dependent variable has to be focused in the theoretical framework as it increases the scope of lower customer satisfaction and loyalty at a greater degree.

//In this paper we will also discussing about components of a theoretical framework with other research material to reflect the relationship between two factors such as loyalty and satisfaction. You are free to add more in this part, which ...
