2. A piston/cylinder system has an initial volume of 0.1 cubic metre and contains air at a pressure of 1 bar. The piston compresses the air to a volume of 0.05 cubic metre. Calculate the final pressure:
(a) for adiabatic compression
(b) for isothermal compression
